| I was in first grade we had studied/discussed the space program in class. They had both first grade classes in one room with TV rolled so we could watch the launch. So we saw it on live TV the teachers were shocked and all us students were confused. We had watched video of other launches and this one was a lot different. The teachers did the best they could I think they both had to go out in hall for a moment. I am sure they tried to explain things the best they could. Seems like the rest of the day was normal but I was young and it has been a while so I may not remember it exactly correct either. It was a tragic occurrence. | |
