Hypothetical question
Let’s say you had 250 physical ounces of gold in your possession. Where can you take that to and get 5100/ounce? I doubt the guy could walk into “treasure island” and get a million? So where do you sell physical?
Hypothetical in the ounce amount but truly curious where you could take substantial amount and get paid?
If you had that much you wanted to move at one time and wanted to get paid right now you will have to go to a refiner.
They are currently running a pay later price and a pay now price, the pay now is lower.
To get $5100 an ounce..... That is like me saying "where can I go and get $10.78 a bushel for my soybeans right now"
Funny on a farm forum that someone wouldn't understand the concept of basis.
Just like your local elevator (well my local elevator is only paying $9.80 for beans and would laugh at me demanding to get full $10.78 a bushel) won't pay CBOT prices, your local jewelry /coin / pm dude won't pay COMEX prices either
