Denhoff,ND right in the center of the State | My dad past away when my boys were at the ages of 2 and 5, they were grandpas pride and joy, they would have been real disapointed even at that young age not to be at the funeral, they still remember it and often talk about it, they like to go visit grandpas grave and know that he is in heaven, my boys are now 7 and 10 and my daughter will be 4 tomorrow, she has seen pictures of her grandpa and knows him from pictures, she says grandpa is in heaven, my dad knew before he died that my wife and I were haveing another child and was very happy for the two of us, only wish he could have met his grand daughter, my oldest boy reminds every one of our dad, actions, and the way he talks, he is a real little boss here on the farm. Let the children go if they want to, they will remember it for the rest of their lives, death is something we all have to experience, they will understand it alot better. Terry |
