I found many mistakes where the maps had extremely high and extremely low values. So instead of utilizing the sensors to smooth the data you could tell it was a computer algorithim smoothing it because the map feathered out the highest value evenly in all directions. We all know soil doesnt act like that. So i had them resample a field and there was 3% point differences in OM, spots that went from 8.2 ph down to 6.5 ph, phos levels varying 30ppm and so on. So i figure if its that pathetic at repeating the data then i cant trust it. If youd like i can send you the data im referring to if your interested.
Yes sir, if you don't mind, I wouldn't mind taking a look and see what went wrong. My email is good if you want to send to that. That has not been my experience at all except the om part on the tests, I have had some issues with that. As far as the ph changing that much, it makes me again wonder about how the samples were taken. How long ago was the sampling done? Also just FYI, they now have the option to use midwest labs or other external labs for nutrients testing. |
