NorthCentral Illinois | Have been saving back wheat to seed into bean stubble in front of corn. Wheat is planted with 1790 setup to plant twin 7.5 in rows leaving 22.5 inch’s for corn planter. Usually plant about 30 lbs/acre when corn harvest is done this year mixed some clover in too on a few acres.
Also save enough wheat back to have helicopter fly it on in standing corn for next years beans. Spread about 30 lbs/acre in late September. Have flown it on earlier but it germinated than turned extremely dry for 5 weeks and a lot of the sprouts dried up and died.
