| Those of you that are consistently planting cover crops on corn and soybean ground I would love to see pics of crops being planted in them and to see:
What CC are you using?
What Rate?
How do you establish? (Drill, spread with fert, turbo till)
Do you have a yield response in your cash crop? Positive or negative.
I work with customers that I have seen do excellent with covers and others I think it is costing them yield. I’ve about decided big cereal rye in front of corn is a disaster.
I have some very marginal ground I’m wanting to try to improve with CC. I read a post a few years ago from WIJDW that stuck with me that his timber soils were starting to out yield his better ground.
