I have found it is much easier to rent from retired farmers or those that have been involved in ag than the next generation who only sees the dollars in the value of their land.
Bad part is, as farmers farm longer, therefore their time retired is less. (And I do not begrudge them for farming longer, I probably will to).
I wish I had more landlords like this !
