Share rent must work different there. Here it's a ball and chain. Barely much cheaper in bad years, good years you can pay double or more in rent.
And in my experience the land owner always wants to have control over inputs and farming practices. I'd rather know a set rate for the ground and I'll handle the rest from there and just write you a check
I wish I had more landlords like this !
