| I went to a site on the Indiana/Ohio border back in 1997 to a FFP field day. They had two holes: one on one side of the fence that was treated and the one on the other side was not treated. The one that was treated they had dug 10 feet down in the soil to get to the bottom of the roots. On the other side of the field untreated the roots went down about 10 inches and went straight sideways. I knew zero about agriculture at the time and I’ll never forget what I saw that day. | |
