My local coop is has merged twice in recent years and more the many before that and gotten quite large. Keystone coop.

My question is, have any large coops made their own N manufacturing plants anywhere? Anhydrous or Liquid?

Knowing nothing about N manufacturing, but thinking we have the customer size to justify it and a foot print not that terribly large in the world of logistics (Indiana, Ohio, Deep South Michigan and a little sliver into eastern illinois).

Farmland Cooperatives(double circle Co-op) was the largest manufacturer in North America until their bankruptcy in the late 1990s.
