NE WI | If the USB flash drive was flexed by the USB connector sometimes the USB connector solder joints can get cracked to the PCB. That’s an easy fix. If the LED light just comes on and doesn’t blink on insertion it’s a sign the controller isn’t working. If you have a duplicate of the same USB drive you can unsolder the TSSOP flash device from the bad drive and place it on the working drive. If it’s a BGA flash the you need a specialized solder removal and replacement rework center. Also need to reball the BGA. | |
