NW MN | If I recall correctly CHS planned to build near Jamestown ND. Changed their stock structure to sell stock to the general public to raise funds. Originally proposed cost was a little of a billion dollars and that kept rising and then Chs said they couldn’t obtain enough water at the proposed site. CF offered CHS an investment into its company or plants for a billion ish and CHS did that instead and after years of promoting the benefits of a ND located plant they abandoned their goal. | |
