Our great state has a $4 million exemption per person or $8 million per couple. For most of us in farm country that own some land, that is the bigger tax issue vs the federal exemption.
ILL estate tax limit needs fixed with the amount of farm operations it effects.. With the price that ground has sold for in your part of the world married couple with only 500 owned acres is above the ILL estate tax limit. |
