Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | Glad you got it working by wiring to E2 and setting E2 as the Master. I'm surprised that wiring to E1 and having E1 set as the Master didn't work for you. I have a switch box that uses E1 for a Master and E3 for a product which worked fine although I haven't used it lately. Possibly there was some other factor preventing the system from turning ON such as an implement switch, zero rate, Auto Swath etc.
Ag Leader uses "E3" for a Jump Start switch for their hydraulic planter drive. This is a momentary switch that triggers the hydraulic drive to start turning at a fixed speed if you should have to stop mid field. You wouldn't be able to use E3 if you had this since E3 would be already used for that purpose. Since the Jump Start business uses E3 that shouldn't enter into your situation.
Oh well, as long as it works the way you want now. So now your "new" Master is in control and the old Master switch on the SC110 will not be consulted in THAT configuration. In other words, the Master on the SC110 can be ON or OFF because the system won't be using it in the current configuration. The system will be consulting E2 (your new Master).
By changing the Master setting to E2, you have only changed it for the current configuration. The change will be saved with the configuration so it will come up this way for the next use.
It is not a global change for all configurations. If you have other configurations that use a Master switch and you wish to use your new Master with them, you would need to go into those configurations and edit them by changing the box in the upper right corner from SWITCH to E2.
This means you could have some configurations watching the Master on the SC110 but others watching your new switch in the dash. Seems unlikely that you might want to do that but it is certainly possible.
