Central Kansas | It is most likely Temporary Global Amnesia (TGA). Frightening, often thought to be a stroke or TIA, but, like in your case, none of the definitive tests suggest that. Cause is allusive but has been linked to great physical exersion, anxiety of a high order, accident & injury such as Mr. Burns encountered and even extreme cold exposure. It is thought to be of no health concern after it passes.
