Lone Wolf Ok | Friday was very interesting.
Wife lost all 'memories' -- as in night before we had celebrated Claire's 4th Birthday -- she had no idea -- many other examples - she did know her children/grandchildren - and later @ hospital knew the guy who did the X Ray, but after the guy left the room had no idea what he was there for.
Started @ urgent care - hoping for UTI (Similar event several years ago) but nope clear - on to ER - the staff had her to Room in Minutes and into CT quickly -- clear -- Neurologist consult via Telemed (pic is representative of the 'unit' - X Ray of Chest, Blood Work, CT with contrast -- all clear. MRI will be done when weather cooperates to see if any evidence of stroke exists. Admitted to hospital overnight for observation (I did the observing as Sleet/Snow fell) Next Dr we saw yesterday morning said - every test has been perfect - So Home -- F/U with PCP.
I learned lots about many different things I never had dreamed I'd have to understand -- and I'm still researching.
Cara's memory is 99% back - only a small 2-3 hr window is lost of Friday morning to during ER visit. -- no recollection of helping to get firewood, me finding her standing in bathtub, driving 40 miles to Urgent Care, Cat Scans.
