I test a lot of stuff every year
All I will say is you need to grab a few bags of good stuff
15J went 200 in my plot. Sounds decent right. Well it was last and the winner was 274. That 74 bushel at $4.50. That’s $300 plus/ac loss. Now I get it. That’s extreme both ways
My point is. Test some other stuff to make sure you aren’t leaving yield on the table.
I tested some hybrid 85 a few years ago. 3 hybrids right in the middle of my plot surrounded by 2 of the top winners. Guess what. They were about 70 bushel off. Still made like 180 or so. So not like a flop. But everything else is as 240-280. Corn was $7 that fall. Ouch if you planted it vs some stuff that was more expensive.
