NE Nebraska | Almost exactly what I did, along with a large percentage of growers around here. I would say control was every bit as effective or more than the brand names, and even with two apps, cost was virtually the same. 2x passes generic quilt xl w/ insecticides. 2-3 weeks apart. Added benefit (for growers on the fence) was the ability to pull the plug on second pass if it didn't seem to show ROI at that time (almost everyone followed through with second pass). | |
