Meh, we did side by side trials of the same corn BT and non BT. The non BT would nearly always outyield the BT corn if you didn't have borer issues, and we rarely did. It takes energy to express the trait, whether it's used or not. Where you see the advantage is that the only way you can buy the next generation of hybrids is traited.
