Seems to be a lot of noise from Ryan Kelly(WtitanII) about the large dairy’s and while I get tired of his whining and complaining that the small dairy was better and I disagree with a lot, he has brought to light the fact we are not playing a fair game. The large dairies are using cheap sometimes illegal labor and all these massive dairies seem to be actually an easy way of a foreign investor to get US citizenship. As in the case of a certain South Dakota dairy Korean investors invested $500,000 and proved they created 5 jobs and therefore gained citizenship. If this is true, the whole “Dutch” “Irish” whatever dairy is more than just an opportunity for a foreigner to avoid taxes for 5 years as we already knew. The business doesn’t have to make sense when people that want citizenship are pumping money in for that purpose. We are not playing a fair game. Where is Farm Bureau, DFA, MMPA, NCGA? Are they really this incompetent or are they part of the scam. Maybe I don’t understand but this seems like something that needs to be exposed and known and has a huge effect on US ag.
Everything in life is for sale to the highest bidder, that is how the boomers have this country structured and the legacy they leave behind. Smear campaigns will work about as good to bring back old school dairy culture as it will to revive Appalachia coal mining, Midwest manufacturing jobs and small town family owned deere dealers. The changes happened 20 years ago and the common folk are finally figuring out what happened behind closed doors to make it all happen. |
