Iowa

Kellysauto - 1/24/2026 05:19 I'm going to try Milestone this spring, . I've been told it has both long-lasting soil residual control and a post-emergent I can buy it at $77 a quart and planning on using full rate of 7 oz a acre, but that may be over kill for Giant ragweed, I'm trying to control Canada thistle, in fence rows waterways, ditches etc. It's supposed to be safe for grasses but I've been told to be very careful not to let drift get onto crop land.

You are right on the don't let it drift

Many years ago I worked at a coop for a summer and my first day I got to ride along to look at a complaint. Sprayer operator was in a large hillside pasture spraying milestone. The beans downwind a few days later were very sad looking. It didn't end well for the coop on that complaint
