Why do you think the insecticide is a good return?
Might be a “here” thing but I haven’t needed to spray for insects in hay in over 20 years.
Insecticide is a tool and sometimes necessary but what I absolutely hate about it is you get the good insects too, now you’ve got nothing between bad bugs and your crop once the residual wears off.
