I drive fairly new pickup. I also have a decent line of farm equipment. I live in a nice house. I have a boat and a motorcycle also. We don't live extragavantly but comfortable. And its because of hard work and because for that hard work I've usually been paid a fair wage, so it doesn't sound like I could work for you. The last thing I would do is agree to terms with a landowner and work for nothing. So, as another farmer said, rent it to whomever you want. There's a sucker out there. By the way the "going rent" around me is way to high.
Maybe your COP is too high if you can't make the going rent work. If you can't make the going rent work, might as well call the auctioneer and cash the rent check. |
