SC Kansas | We had some manure applied Wednesday and Thursday, and yesterday through Sunday are forcast to get 8” of snow. Will that help nutrients like nitrogen into the soil without working it in? If not how long before it starts to volatilize? Planning on strip tilling before corn, should I plan on more than that?
We took a sample of the manure and sent it off for nutrient analysis but haven’t gotten it back yet. | |
