| I just plumbed mine with a long enough hose off the Y at the float to get the freeze miser out of the pen and away from the tank and off the concrete so it drips on sod. Water that comes out of the freeze miser does not flow into the tank and overflow the tank, it drips probably 50’ away from the tank.
Actually works pretty good because it appears where it drips on the sod, the sod doesn’t really freeze so continues to pretty much soak away into the ground instead of making a large mess.
Works much better than I would have thought.
