We use the good yellow rings but we get a bunch of hay pulled out and tramped on
It is alfalfa hay and I think maybe 25% waste
But not really we spread a lot of manure and I like that
But Id rather have a setup like yours and waist less hay

is pretty well what we set up back in 70 to feed the dairy cows there silage
I have a grandson I want to help get a set up going in a couple years
