SW TX PANHANDLE | There is one operating here since July of last year. It is a crypto mining operation. They are powered by a wind farm or have a tap on an ercot transmission line. They are very sensitive to electricity price and will shut down when it gets higher. It is inside the footprint of our e coop so we get to make a margin off it. So far it has worked very well for the coop and they’ve done everything they said they would do. The e coop has no assets the data center utilizes. | |
