| If you add water, be SURE to let some mix BACK OUT of the valve.
We injected water in a tank once to make 28%, and the valve that we only injected water into the tank from froze and separated. That little area inside the valve never mixed with the 32% and it froze right there.
If you add water now or later, be sure to agitate well, especially in the spring if you decide to wait to add water, it will or already has started to salt out.
"Here" the rule of thumb is to never store 32% over winter. Cut it to make 28% to be sure it's safe to make it through the winter. | |
