Reality is land is allowing other costs to have too big piece of the pie when in comes to cost. There is no justification for current GMO seed , fert or mach cost, that are being charged
You can make the same argument that land shouldn't be $10,000. And it for sure shouldn't be $20,000 or more.
Reality is, land values are at a complete disconnect from farm income. Anyone that thinks they need a 4% ROI on land needs to adjust what they're willing to pay for land to reflect that.
Land costs have risen at a far greater pace than any other cost.
