Mid-Michigan | Pretty sure things are coming to a head right now. I've been wondering for years now how some of these financial situations are doable. Im pretty simple but I graduated from the 8th grade and can add 2+2. Im not saying that 2 old guys who have always wanted the 160 between them and way overpaid for the land isn't possible. But some of the stupid stuff I've read on here of what guys are doing and have done simply isn't financially possible (without tremendous off farm income). Guys are going to go broke. Period! It's happened before and its going to happen again after all of us old farts and cry babies are gone. Not a pretty sight. However, some guy will come on here after me and say how much better things are than they were last year. Great. Glad things are good. That's not the case for everyone. | |
