| I am not saying that I think the government should be so involved in agriculture but what about the reality that they have been and that involvement thru crop insurance, regular farm payments, ad hoc disaster payments has benefitted those currently farming and he elimination of government involvement would force any new farmers to try and compete with established farmers who have a base that was built with government involvement. | |
