"Going rent" is what needs to come down.      Yes, I said that and I don't care if you disagree.

If farmers as a whole can't make money with rents where they are, that's where the shortfall needs to come from, not taxpayers.




Rent should cover money cost and RE taxes. Since that is currently not the case @ 4% int. current rents are too cheap. Reality is any profit from grain farming is being subsidized by land.
