| Downwardspiral - 1/23/2026 05:53 If I were to do it again I would put in floor heat in the basement floor. Back it up with a standard forced air furnace. Heat rises and even if you didn’t use the basement as living space your floors on the main level would be warm.
You would think so, but that is not the case. Built an office with a 2nd story playroom for the kids. it was at least 10 degrees cooler up there, with an open stairway and floor vents on the opposite end of the room. Had to put electric heaters up there. |
