| 1) I do. Have three gasoline powered tractors that I use pretty regularly. I know 5 of my 6 closest neighbors have at least one gasoline powered tractor that they “use”. 2) You did not answer how many # of gluten/ DDG’s come from processing a barrel of crude. 3) “ Whiny clueless ethanol haters” stems from being clueless on feedstock that goes back to the farm as feed so the point of driving up food prices because corn is being used 100% for fuel instead of livestock feed is not a talking point. 4) Have you actually ran the numbers between 15% and 10%? I personally have multiple times and have come up with anywhere between .4 better to .3 worse mpg. To me with the cheaper cost it is a no brainer plus benefitting a home grown product whose producers are local little league coaches, volunteers at the county fair, ushers at church and pay too high property taxes to help keep our county and schools running. 5)What is your “ counter point” comment about? You can be Big Oils #1 supporter all you want but “ educated” people know ethanol is in every gallon of gasoline since the cancer causing MTBE additive was outlawed and until they find a cheaper more environmentally friendly replacement you ethanol haters are stuck with it whether you like it ( or even know about it) or not. Whether you choose to boycott it or not, you are still burning some.
