Over the next 20 year period. I'll throw out 8-9% annual average, which is far more modest than past record. Valuations are stretched but money printing is on the fast sprocket and owning shares of companies is a good way to hedge inflation.

I will play contrarian to many here. All the market fear, uncertainty, doubts - that FUD is healthy and actually a positive thing. Hardly ever is a downturn actually anticipated by the majority. Markets climb a mountain of worry.
