My whole house is like that. I still have a 14” pipe traveling around the perimeter under the floor delivering ac and heat through floor vents. The stat for the concrete has a sensing probe buried in the concrete so it only knows the slab is at 69 for example. The wall thermostat controls the ac and furnace.
