Help a neighbor with broilers, when he started 10 years ago had water problem iron, hard, and etc. He ended up installing a Reverse Osmosis system with a softener. Birds improved instantly and still growing good after 10 years. Only drawback, takes 1 gal to make 1 gal of water, and initial cost was $50K. The bonuses check over the years have more than paid for it.
