The US should have made it a national security policy that everything would use 10% ethanol at that time. I think in the early 2,000’s after 911 the general public would have supported cutting foreign oil some and cutting overall oil needs by 10%. Didn’t happen then snd now it is a challenge to keep our foot in the door.
