 Northern Indiana | Emergency vehicles will not shut down for low oil or over temperature.
As far as emissions I know that Cummins has stated that under no condition should an emergency vehicle be shut down due to an emissions fault.
What happens is they derate but not to the point of shutting down. I would like to think Emergency Services would fall under the same guidelines as Military. But I guess the Firemen didn’t lobby as hard as the Military.
