If you are willing to do stocks. Low cost S$P index, large cap Growth you should be able to do 10% or better. 12% has been an average lately. But I’m nervous to use.


BUT I was nervous in 1984
And I would get tired of listing years when I was nervous

I’ve posted before my wife and I both invested appropriately the same amounts in IRA’s
Put hers in safety at the bank
Put mine in mostly risky mutual funds low cost Vanguard,Fidelity and others shotgun style I invested in nothing that was even close to safe
I’m 71 mine is worth well over 10X what hers is

Past results in no way predicts future results
BUT I would not bet against past results
