Iowa | About inputs and costs are to high......and then people say well the land costs should come down........as a Landowner why should I take less than going rent?
When so many farmers drive new trucks....... and machinery that is less than 5 years old and want to put on the big show....... the largest return will always go to the land.....always has always will.......
As time goes on Ive found out that some farmers have been taking advantage of landowners that are unaware of current rent values..... and havent adjusted rent in A LONG time. Pretty sad if your honest. Needless to say I think a few of them are going to get an unpleasant rent raise this summer on a year when margins aren't great.
