SE MN | Have a roughly round boulder that I want to move 10 miles. Guessing it weighs 10-15000 lb. Have a loader tractor that will pick up 7000 lb right at the bucket pins. Would like to haul it on a tilt deck 14000 lb trailer. It will need to sit on a frame or pallet made of heavy timbers so it doesn't break through the trailer deck. All of the ideas I can think of to get it on the trailer are complicated and time consuming. If you move big boulders for landscaping, what tricks do you use if you don't have a loader that can pick it straight up. | |
