West Central Wisconsin | Ironically, I recently watched an episode of Texas County Reporter on Youtube that featured a blacksmith in Paint Rock, TX. He makes carbon steel cookware, forging and pounding out each piece by hand. I found it quite interesting and looked up his website after reading your post.
