If we need them we put them in the shop the night before, warm fuel to start with us key. We dont even have additive or 1 on the farm and dont give it a second thought BUT they are in the warm shop at night

You live in North Dakota and you don't use treated fuel?


If starting in a 50+ degree shop, and returning, and certain designs of fuel systems, you can get away with it usually. Depends on the weather.

Here farther north than them and with livestock everything goes to #1 sometime in October/November.
