The opportunity cost is never taken into consideration as you just wait holding an asset that generates zero income, .
You have never "invested" in a stock that ended up losing money. Ever. Pretty impressive.
Please define "generates zero income".
If you buy a stock that doesn't pay a dividend, does that qualify? (if so you would have never bought Berkshire)
If you buy a stock in a company which is currently losing money, does that qualify? (if so you would have never bought AMZN nor AAPL in the beginning)
