Definitely repairable: just need to find an expert repairman/welder. Saw the side-arm of a CAT 631 scraper broken because bowl pivot pin broke. I thought it was toast ‘till I watched company’s best welder put it all back together. Anyone not familiar with a 631 would not know that it had been repaired. Way beyond my ability.
