ONE expense accounts for 40-50% of the cost of growing corn/soybeans in the corn belt.    Yet no one wants to address it.   More govt money just makes the problem worse.


Cheaper land is what separates South America from the US corn belt on cost of production.

Until guys get serious about reducing land cost, I will never believe that $4 corn and $10 beans are a problem.

If you can't make money with $4 and $10, you won't be able to make money with $8 and $20 for more than a couple years until all the money gets bid into land once again.
