Hauling hay…….thats tractor, skidloader or pickup work.
Id find a cheap little tractor that would lift your bales that is mechanically sound this year. Keep your current atv and extend its life by moving bales with a tractor.
Old trucks with bale beds always break down….Trannys give out as mudd and hay bales/feeder and we can make it mind set kills the life of the tranny.
New trucks are stupid expensive and then your plowing mudd with an $80k+ truck and your bound to have an oops and do $4-5k of body damage..
