China on the other hand has 2.5x the capacity of the US projected to be 3x by the end of the year.
Fun fact: Chinas grid is optimized for industrial production while the US grid is driven by residential consumption. 38% of our capacity.
Chinas residential households use 1/3 of what US households use. We are wasteful.
China electricity residential rates are $ .07-.08 while US is $.16-18. China industrial rates $.11-12.
