| Remove the rectangular little cell phone holder in the very front by the glass. There are two torx screws in there. Remove those and the remained of the lower cowl snaps in, you have to pry it rear-ward.
Pop the john deere emblem cap off of the steering wheel, inside of that is a nut with a locking tab washer. Remove that and the steering wheel. Below that is some hex screws, Remove those and that sliding assembly will pull out.
That should give you the access you need. Less than an inch of play is about normal. | |
